Your work stays on your device

Job names, client details, locations you type, notes and selected photos are stored in the app's private local storage. FieldPair does not upload these records to our servers. There is no FieldPair user account, cloud synchronization, advertising or separate usage-analytics SDK. Google Play Billing includes its own technical logging, described below.

Photos and reports

You choose photos through Android's file picker or a camera app. FieldPair does not request broad access to your photo library or location. Imported photos are resized and re-encoded; original EXIF metadata is not copied. The app records whether a photo came from the camera or was imported and when it was added. These are not independently verified capture times, location evidence or proof that work was completed.

PDF reports contain the selected job's photos, notes and client information. Sharing a PDF or exporting a ZIP backup sends that information to the app, person or storage provider you choose. Review it before sharing. Those recipients and providers handle copies under their own policies.

Subscriptions

Google Play handles purchase information and payments. FieldPair uses Google Play Billing to check subscription status and verify signed purchase information. We do not receive your card details. Google Play Billing also includes a logging component that sends billing-operation diagnostics and generated billing-session or transaction identifiers to Google. These technical logs include SDK/app version and device/operating-system details and are used to diagnose billing behavior and improve the billing service. Billing initializes when the app opens; this technical logging has no in-app opt-out. Transfers use encrypted connections. We do not send your job records, client notes or photos through that component. Google controls its billing-service processing and retention; contact Google for requests relating to information held by Google. Google processes information under its privacy policy. Availability and the localized renewal price are displayed by Google Play before you purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Manage them in Google Play's Payments and subscriptions settings.

Demo workspace

The optional Pro demo uses a separate local workspace with no payment. Demo reports are marked, and demo backups cannot replace your real workspace. Demo records remain locally until you delete them or uninstall the app. Exit demo to return to your real jobs.

Retention and deletion

Records remain locally until you delete them or uninstall the app. Delete a job in FieldPair to remove its records and stored photos. Temporary generated PDF copies may remain in app cache until cleared. Uninstalling removes local app storage, including its cache. Exported backups, saved PDFs and copies you shared are separate; delete them at their destinations. We cannot remotely recover or delete files on your device or with your chosen recipients.

Backup and security

Android's app sandbox protects local files from ordinary access by other apps. Exported ZIP backups are not encrypted by FieldPair and can contain private customer details and photos. Store backups securely and export one before uninstalling or changing phones. No automatic cloud backup is provided.

Children and sensitive content

FieldPair is intended for adult business users. Only record people, homes and customer information when you have appropriate permission. Do not use the app to collect unnecessary sensitive information.
